             Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which is based on a 12 month lunar year of approximately 354 days, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting(sawm), prayer(salah) and reflection. It is a month of communal prayer in the mosque and constant study of the Qur’ān.                 Bola Ahmed Tinubu was born in Lagos on March 29th, 1952, to a Muslim family from the Yoruba ethnic group in Nigeria. He is the only child of the one time Iya-Oloja of Lagos state, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji. Tinubu's early life, education,work and finances are unclear and, at times challenged. He  attended St. John Primary school, Aroloya, Lagos State before proceeding to Children Home School in Ibadan, Oyo State. Other details about his education includes Richard J. Virtual KIdnapping:Our Defence To Fight It

          An unfortunate reality is the rise of kidnappings in Africa, particularly in Nigeria.  But today’s criminals are getting even more sophisticated by exploiting technology  and engaging in “virtual kidnapping.”   Unlike traditional abductions, virtual kidnappers have not actually kidnapped anyone. Instead,   through deceptions and threats, they coerce victims to pay a quick ransom before the scheme falls apart ,”.             Many people's fear has been exploited by these kidnappers after they are being told that their loved one has been abducted by these criminals and are asked to pay huge sum of money. Armed Robery In Ago Iwoye

      Crime in Ago Iwoye appears to be on the rise. Incidents such as Armed robbery and pick-pocketing were widely reported across the town this week. This has made numbers of students scared of taking their mobile phones and gadgets out with them.     A recent attack was reported on Monday 29th, January 2024, where OOU vibes, a popular Whatsapp Tv personality was robbed at gun point  at an undisclosed location along Ago Iwoye town. His phone which was unlocked at the time of the robbery was used to send several messages to his contacts.     Also on the rise are reports of burglary, which is a major concern for both students and landlord as they now feel unsafe in their own home.
